Invitation to a medical conference by Ukrainian medical doctors, 25th April 2024 in St.Gallen
Dear Colleagues,
We cordially invite you, your partner and interested praxis personnel to a unique educational opportunity titled: The State of Medicine in the Ukraine under Martial Law.
All speakers in this afternoon symposium are renowned, experienced physicians, currently active in the Ukraine and confronted with all the realities of this brutal war. Their firsthand experiences and reports are intended to raise awareness for the tremendous challenges which our Ukrainian colleagues face and to raise solidarity – not only now, but also for reconstruction after the war.
The initiators of this event and co-founders of the organization “The Swiss Ukraine Charity” are Ukrainian women who have been living in Eastern Switzerland since the start of the war. They are endeavoring to give something back to the country where they have been welcomed as well as to their home country, the Ukraine. The speeches and lectures are intended for a general medical audience. All talks and possible slides will be in English.
There will be ample opportunity to interact and discuss with the speakers and the representatives of the Schweiz Ukraine Charity during the break and over drinks immediately following the symposium.
All speakers plan to be present in person at the conference, but due to possible unexpected events in these times of war, it may be that a speaker might send a colleague or speak online.
Dr. Morant has been an organizer and co-organizer in many medical events and courses over many years and has volunteered to help with the organization of this symposium. He supports the goals of the organisation.
